In our house, this week is not so much about Valentine's Day as it is about Brooks' birthday. We were planning to be out of town for his birthday (more posts about that later), so the only way he would be able to celebrate with his little pre-school buddies was to combine his party with the Valentine class party. I told his teacher that I would bring some Birthday/Valentine's Day treats of some sort. Enter my friend Shannon. She is a fantastic artist (and an all-around lovely person!) who uses her talents to bless others in several different ways. She is a Piggies and Paws artist as well as the owner/creative-force/chef behind the precious Wild Thymes Designs. Only Shannon could combine a boy's birthday with Valentine's and turn it into something cute but still boyish at the same time!This is just a tiny sample of her work and this photo by no means does it justice.
