2 | Fifty-Two

Why is it that putting a self-portrait out there for the world to see is so hard? Most of us are behind the camera and rarely find ourselves in front of it; much less comfortably in front of it! We expect our subjects to just relax and have fun and yet we can't do it ourselves. But I'm determined to do it more often this year and to just be in more shots with my family.My assignment this week for my photography class was to take a shot with only side lighting. Here is my attempt.

(Note to self: Go get a remote and quit having to self-time it and run around!)
